My name is Elizabeth (Lizzy) Hoaksey, but to all those who wish to use my “pen” name, I am The Lady Melusel.

I’m 18 years old, living in the South of England.

I have many passions; I’m more than obsessed with historical clothing, and just LOVE to wear corsets! I already achieve a 24″ waistline. I am soon to study Costume Design and Construction at University, I’m aspiring to work in the film industry. I love alternative modelling and, of course… I ADORE WRITING FANFICTION!!

If you enjoy fanfic about any of the above topics, I hope you’ll drop by and read various bits! I plan to set up different blog spaces for each, (links will be posted in the links section or possibly in a post… I haven’t decided yet!) so they will be a blog for each one, making them easier to read. If you want to know something about me, all the information is ready to come out of my mouth, so just ask! I’m a very open person and it’s hard to offend me, so be daring and ask me something challenging! I’ll enjoy answering and you may find out something interesting! I’m a loudmouth and I love it. I have strong opinions and talk to much. According to my oh so polite Textiles teacher, I “like the sound of my own voice!”

Another huge passion of mine is support for the band “The Birthday Massacre”. I’ve been a fan since 2005 and I simply love them! I take a great deal of style inspiration… general inspiration in-fact… from their front-woman Chibi and she is one of my biggest idols!

I’m a big ass nerd! If you like alternative lifestyle… We’ll get on because yes… Just be different I’m a Boho-Goth! (so basically I’m a goth/hippie hybrid!)

I have Obsessive Compulsive Disorder but that fu**s me off… now there’s a name for ever disorder or syndrome… it’s just an excuse for flaws!

I love people with individuality, opinions (even if they clash with my own, as long as they can accept we differ) and people with the strength of spirit to do something different.
I’m ALWAYS willing to try new stuff, and you don’t know until you try, right??! <3 Life is for living, so shut up and live it. I have quite a stern attitude, I despise pity and just want to get on with the important things. I’m not here for sympathy.

I have such an open mind, and won’t be offended by anything you say, and I’m sorry in advance if I joke about something and it comes across the wrong way!!

I will always try to reply to comments and messages etc. whenever I am online, which is often, but do check my blogs for changes in case I am away.
